Tenacious Carbon is the secretariat to the APPG for Hemp Carbon Capture and Rural Development.
The purpose of the APPG is:
“To support domestic hemp in achieving the UK’s climate, energy and economic goals — with a particular focus on Sustainable Aviation Fuel, marine biofuels, sustainable construction, carbon credits, farming jobs and rural development. The Group will encourage investment in carbon capture, break down regulatory barriers and support a thriving domestic hemp sector.”

The APPG aims to meet every other month, with a key speaker, and an update on actions taken by the group to further its aims. Minutes will be posts on this site shortly after each meeting.
